EMANUELE NEPI

A fascination with the way people dressed in the past, an attraction to an elegance and style that was displayed by all social classes. Elegance, not only in how a garment was worn, but also the gestures and good manners which accompanied it.I always remember my grandfather who went to work in a tie and a hat , even though he worked as a road sweeper .Ties, corsets, the gesture of greeting doffing the hat, everything had style.

The discovery of the world of vintage bikes .The desire to communicate those stories through images printed on T – shirts .Shoes and sweaters worn by the cyclists of the early nineteenth century become fashionable garments of every day wear. The obsessive search for fabrics , genuine craftspeople , the ones where you know the name of the person who created the product; as my label says ” MADE IN ITALY “.
